The corrugated guardrail is a highway anti-collision facility, which consists of two corrugated beam steel guardrails and two guardrail columns fixedly clamped between them. It is mainly to prevent out-of-control vehicles from running out of the road, and different specifications are adopted according to different road grades.
When the vehicle collides with it, because the corrugated guardrail has good crashworthiness, energy absorption and excellent function, it is not easy to be crashed, and at the same time, it can play a good role in protecting the vehicle and the passengers. When road maintenance or other reasons need to pass through, each group of guardrail columns at the opening can be easily pulled out and removed to open up a passage for vehicles to pass through. During the normal operation of the road, the guardrail can be easily inserted into the pre-set plug hole at the opening by using the plug-in steel column, which plays the role of isolation and protection. At the same time, it echoes the guardrail belt on the outside of the road, which is uniform and beautiful .
How should the corrugated guardrail be classified?
Generally, they are classified according to the installation location and anti-collision level.
1. According to the installation location, it can be divided into roadside guardrails and central divider guardrails.
2. According to the anti-collision level, it can be divided into A level and S level. The S-level guardrail is a reinforced type, which is suitable for use on particularly dangerous road sections on the roadside, and the A-level guardrail is used for special roads. According to the anti-collision level, it can generally be divided into A level and B level. A-level guardrails are reinforced, suitable for use on particularly dangerous sections of the roadside, and B-level guardrails are used for special roads.
